Airplane pulling competition
The airplane-pulling doubles competition was held at the Zhengzhou Airport in central China's Henan Province on Tuesday.
It is as part of the World Strongman Champions League 2013, a total of 20 strongmen who survived three elimination rounds took part in three types of competitions, during which another eight players would be eliminated. The rest of the players would take part in the finals to compete for the title.
Ohio Woman Rescued Car Swallowed
TOLEDO, Ohio -- A northwest Ohio sinkhole has swallowed a car traveling down a street and briefly trapped the driver, who climbed out after authorities gave her a ladder.
Toledo police Sgt. Joe Heffernan says a water main break beneath the road may have caused the sinkhole Wednesday. The hole is estimated to be at least 10 feet deep.
Police say driver Pamela Knox didn't appear hurt but was shaken up and was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Heffernan says Knox saw the vehicle in front of her start to slip into the hole but drive beyond it. He says Knox couldn't avoid it.
Officials used a crane to pull the car from the hole. Repairs to the road are expected to take days.

Another person who is taping the action is heard telling Ira, to stop her cruel actions. Most of those who have watched the video are deeply enraged by both the mother and the video taper -- the former for abusing the baby, and the latter for letting it happen without intervening.
The local Malaysian police have taken action against the woman and it is said that the woman was charged and jailed for 18 months in Petaling Jaya last year.
What is "new" is that the video has been released, is going viral, and gives us opportunity to protest against ALL child abuse, regardless of country or culture, and request appropriate sentences against perpetrators.

The engaged couple spent about three hours posing for pictures while braving extreme heat and humidity when suddenly one of the shots captured a little boy stepping into the murky stream in the background. 'He was obviously struggling to get back to the surface,' Ms Salmon told the station ABC 6 Action News. 'His head went back. He was bobbing up and down. I knew he was going under.'
Without a moment's hesitation, the quick-thinking fiancee rushed to the drowning child's aid, kicked off her flip-flops and dove into the creek in her clothes.
'If I would have had my wedding dress on that, that's what I would have been in the water in,' she said.
The fearless woman managed to reach the little boy struggling to stay afloat in the creek, pushed him over her shoulder and started slapping him on the back to expel the water he had swallowed
The 5-year-old boy's desperate mother soon followed Salmon into the stream and joined the rescue effort. The entire episode was documented by Salmon and Werner's photographer, Ken Beerger, who captured the woman jump into action and rush into the water after the child. A series of photos from that day show the child's mother leap into the creek after Salmon, and the two women carry the toddler to safety. The flushed, visibly shaken little boy could be seen cradled by his much relieved mother, with Salmon gently patting the child's back, a look of concern on her face. Luckily for the boy and his family, who were on vacation from Maryland at the time, the 30-year-old Good Samaritan is a trained lifeguard and paramedic . Her future husband is an EMT, and the couple's photographer is also a first responder. 'Once you're an EMT for a while, you're in emergency services, you don't think you react, it's what you're trained to do,' said Becki.

Man Wrestles 7 Foot Shark Ashore / Elliot Sudal, 24, who recently moved to Nantucket, Mass., from Florida to take a job at a mooring company, was captured in an incredible image wrestling a seven-foot shark onto shore on Sunday. He said it is his favorite hobby.
"First of all, I'm obsessed with fishing," Sudal told ABC News. "I've caught over 100 sharks in the last eight months. It's my favorite thing to do."
The Nantucket Police Marine Department confirmed to ABC News that Sudol really did wrestle the shark ashore.
Sudal said he was out fishing for bluefish when he sensed there were sharks lurking nearby.
"It just kind of seemed sharky," he said. "There was something coming by and chomping them [the bluefish] in half. I thought, 'It's got to be a shark.'"
Sudal then took a half-eaten bluefish he had reeled in earlier, put it on his fishing line, and cast it out. Within two minutes, he had shark on the other end of the line.
Sudal said he grappled with the shark on the fishing rod for about 45 minutes before it tired. He then handed the rod to his cousin and charged into the waves.
"The crazy part is you have to run into the water and grab it by the tail and put it on shore," said Sudal.
He said about 20 spectators had gathered on shore to witness him drag the shark to shore.
"Everyone was freaking out, I got a slow clap when I was walking away," he said.
"I've been fishing for everything since I was a kid," said Sudal. "I got into this shark thing about two years ago. It's just like this epic battle between you and this sea beast. You cant go back to a little fish after that. Everything else is bait."
Sudal said the shark was out of the water for about a minute.
"I always let the sharks go," he said. "It's important to release these things. I'm very conservation-minded when it comes to taking care of them."
It's not the first time beachgoers have gotten up close and personal with the finned predators. Last month a video emerged of a teen hitching a ride on a 30-foot whale shark, and early in June a group of fishermen caught a record-breaking 1,300 pound shark off the coast of California.
There have been an increase in the number of great white shark sightings along the coast of cape cod, though officials are not planning on closing any beaches because of them.
